Online Tangible Return Filing
Welcome to tangible return online filing. Our office is pleased to provide this service to established businesses in Marion County.
Florida Statutes 193.052 requires that all tangible personal property be reported each year to the Property Appraiser's office. This interactive system will walk you through the application process.
This service is only available for established businesses. If you are a new company, you must file the return by mail.
In order to begin your filing process you will need:
Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) from your printed return.
Federal EIN Number or Social Security Number
Equipment & Asset List
Log in to online filing.
The Marion County Property Appraiser's Office will be accepting

returns after January 1, 2019. The deadline for 2019 return is Monday, April 1, 2019. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 352-368-8300.

Important Message Regarding Extensions
The office policy for filing extensions for tangible personal property returns are as follows:
The Property Appraiser will grant 30-day extensions for filing the return.
The taxpayer or authorized representative must request the extension in writing.
All requests for extensions must include the taxpayer's parcel identification number, as well as the business name and location.
All tangible returns with authorized extensions must be postmarked by May 1 to avoid late filing penalties.
A COPY OF THIS EXTENSION REQUEST MUST ALSO BE INCLUDED AS PART OF THE TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX RETURN WHEN FILED.
